Zion Yaotu agroforestry ion culture medium was originally a waterless and soilless cultivation project in the Mars Exploration of the former Soviet Union, which was used for the green plant supply of astronauts in long-term space travel; it was also used for the plant cultivation soil of space shuttle, submarine, shelter, Arctic observation station and other places; later it was sealed up as a national secret project for a long time.

In 1990, after the declassification of Yaotu technology, the civil project was established, and the chief technical scientist of Yaotu project (academician of the former Soviet Academy of Sciences) began to study the commercialization of products. After years of research and development in the direction of agricultural modernization technology, a unique patent protection has been formed and put into the market on a large scale.

Yaotu project has two national R & D centers and production bases in Moscow, Russia and Minsk, Belarus. And the formation of Russia, the Middle East, the United States and other agricultural and forestry countries on the comprehensive interaction and expansion of technology.
